CAD Design Engineer

This pivotal engineering role combines CAD design with hands‑on prototyping, providing you with the opportunity to influence projects from concept to completion. If you thrive on practical problem‑solving, enjoy refining and adapting existing designs, and like being hands‑on with assembly and testing, this could be the ideal role for you.

This company designs and manufactures cutting‑edge technology that is used in a wide range of high‑tech industries. Any experience with 3D printing or producing CAD models for printed or machined components will be helpful, but not essential, as long as you have an interest in building and prototyping.

You will work closely with suppliers and machinists, so being comfortable discussing technical requirements is important. While experience is valuable, the team is open to candidates with one to two years of experience or even recent graduates with a strong practical mindset.

A mechanical background is essential, with a qualification in a relevant discipline, such as a degree, apprenticeship, or HND. The role is primarily on‑site Monday to Friday, with some flexibility, and is best suited to someone living locally or within a reasonable commute to Ampfield.
