Job Overview

An opportunity for an articulate, creative and enthusiastic team player. Experience in relationship development, event management and business development with key industry executives, both face to face and over the telephone is a must. The ability to build rapport with potential and existing customers is vital. Experience within exhibitions would be an advantage.

Roles / Responsibilities
  • Oversee the onboarding of buyer registrations for the programme of events with a primary focus on the event to be held in conjunction with Saudi Tourism Authority in 2025.
  • Using the software to manage accounts and to ensure completion.
  • Prioritise agencies for key account management.
  • Research, identify and recruit new and highly desirable agents to attend current and future programmes.
  • Engage with approved buyers to identify new potential recommended agents to attend future programmes.
  • Investigate and build the database of travel agencies to increase participation in future programmes.
  • Network to the best possible customer standards before, during and after events to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that data returns are received post‑event and used to drive the business forward.
  • Help the team where necessary in any other duties related to events.
The candidate
  • Experience in achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to use evidence and research to help shape the future direction of networking events.
  • Ability to negotiate with senior industry executives to identify opportunities to enhance the Connections brand, in reputation and participation.
  • A background in the B2B travel environment.
  • Experience in consultative selling and objection handling.

  • The candidate will be a self‑motivated team player with a determined and mature approach.
