Qualifications

• Must have knowledge in materials buying or planning.
• Experience with Microsoft packages, particularly Excel, is essential.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and review raw material and finished goods stock levels.
• Co-ordinate supply of materials within defined inventory levels.
• Liaise with Customer Service, Manufacturing, and other departments regarding supply or stock issues.
• Work with Purchasing on supplier development and inventory management.
• Manage consignment stock agreements with suppliers.
• Resolve material control issues and discrepancies.
• Make independent decisions relating to materials control within set limits.
• Raise production orders as required.
• Provide costing, reporting, and statistical information as needed.

We are recruiting for a Buyer Planner on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Nottingham.

The job : Buyer Planner

Duration : Temp to Perm

Salary : Up to £14 per hour (Equivalent to £27,300 per annum)

Location: Nottingham

Shift : Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm | Friday 8:30am – 3:45pm (37.5 hours per week)
