Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 DOE + Bonus

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a talent for negotiation and supplier management? We're looking for a Buyer to join a growing team in Wakefield, working within the technical solutions and industrial services sector-an industry that supports businesses in improving efficiency, safety, and performance through tailored products and expert support.

This role blends procurement with supplier relationship management, offering the chance to take ownership of purchasing processes while contributing to strategic sourcing decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and purchase products and services to meet business needs, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and securing competitive pricing.
  • Monitor stock levels and manage inventory to avoid shortages or excess.
  • Research new suppliers and evaluate potential partnerships.
  • Stay informed on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and product innovations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan procurement schedules.
  • Receive full training to develop technical product knowledge and confidently manage purchasing decisions.
