Overview

Buyer - Engineering - Blackburn, Lancashire. Salary: £42,000 plus benefits. Leading Engineering organisation with a superb opportunity for an all-round Buyer ideally from an Engineering background to join the management team. The role will also take on other associated tasks and will be responsible for purchasing (sheet metal, fixings, machinery, PCs/laptops, uniforms, welding gear, etc.). IT literate (MS Office, Excel) and ideally with experience of MRP/ERP systems (Mie Trak is desirable).

Responsibilities

• Manage all purchases including sheet metal, fixings, machinery, PCs/laptops, uniforms, welding gear, etc.
• Lead and motivate team members with a proactive, flexible, can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilise MS Office (Excel and related software) and experience with MRP/ERP systems (Mie Trak desirable).
• Collaborate with the management team and take on other associated tasks as required.

Details

• Salary: £42,000 per annum
• Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00–16:30 and Friday 8:00–13:00
• Annual leave: 25 days plus 8 public holidays
