Business Risk Manager (First Line) – Private Clients – Banking

A leading banking organisations are improving their product offering to the private client’s segment and have an opportunity for a first line business risk manager to oversee a portfolio of risk, compliance, regulatory and controls responsibilities on behalf of the business.

You will ideally have worked in a mid-tier or medium-sized bank and have a strong understanding of private client banking products and services, in particular consumer credit. You will have substantial first line of defence experience, with practical experience on regulations including consumer duty, and the ability to build risk and controls frameworks that best service such regulations.

You should apply for this role fi you are/have:

• 10+ years risk/compliance experience within banking organisations
• Significant private clients / high net worth client experience
• Extensive practical first-line of defence / risk and control experience
• Strong understanding of consumer duty and related regulations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution.

This is a contract role, largely office based in London. Day rate dependent on experience, c. £550-600/day.
