This is an exciting opportunity within Macquarie's Commodities & Global Markets First Line Risk Management Team in London, supporting its growing business in EMEA. This desk works directly with the end-to-end business stakeholders to ensure the key non-financial risks are being effectively identified, assessed, managed and monitored. The Business Operational Risk Manager is responsible for facilitating the continued improvement in processes, controls risk awareness and culture across our businesses.

What role will you play?

As a subject matter expert, you will partner with trading desks and leverage your expertise to develop comprehensive knowledge of front-to-back processes. You will proactively identify, assess, report, and manage associated non-financial risks. You will also provide advice on a broad range of risk matters, assess new product and business initiatives, investigate incidents, test the effectiveness of controls, and contribute to regulatory responses and audit reviews.
