Overview

Business Manager – Exeter

Salary: £44,000

Contract: Permanent

Our client is looking for a Business Manager to support growing SMEs in the South West through providing access to finance. The position will require working from home on a hybrid basis with occasional attendance to the Bristol office and other locations in the region.

Responsibilities

• Undertake loan appraisals including risk assessment of the business proposition and recommendation for support
• Upload and monitor data on the loan management system
• Maintain positive customer relationships with own portfolio clients
• Generate new business through personal networking and contacts
• Liaise with the Portfolio Manager regarding loan arrears and recovery actions
• Undertake training as required to ensure compliance regarding the FCA and other regulatory bodies as appropriate
• Manage your own Continuing Professional Development in consultation with the Managing Director
• Actively contribute to the staff review process and follow up agreed actions
• Work in accordance with the company\'s Dignity & Diversity Policy
• Undertake such other duties as may be required within the general scope of the job
