A governmental organization in Glasgow is seeking a Business Manager to support the Major Projects Directorate. This role involves providing dedicated support to the Director, managing correspondence, and leading business planning efforts. Candidates should have strong management, business development, and sales experience. The position is full-time, office-based twice a week with flexible working options. We are currently recruiting for a Business Manager to work in the Major Projects Directorate Business Support Team to support the continuous innovation and strong core values of Transport Scotland in an everchanging and exciting environment.
The focus of a Business Manager role is to provide high level dedicated and informative support to the Director of Major Projects within Transport Scotland ensuring that the wider directorate actions and deadlines are prioritised co-ordinated and managed. You should consider how you would respond to very competing deadlines. The individual will be part of a wider senior business management team which acts in response to Transport Scotlands business priorities. As such working closely with staff is key to success within this role. There is one role available at present however we will hold a reserve list for a period of 9 months should any further roles become available within that period. The role will be based in 177 Bothwell Street Glasgow.
The current structure of the Major Projects Director team is the Director of Major Projects this role and an Assistant Business Manager.
