About the Role

Are you passionate about driving operational excellence and continuous improvement? Compass Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Business Improvement Lead to play a pivotal role in transforming business processes and practices across our organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to influence change, enhance efficiency, and align improvements with our strategic objectives.

What You’ll Do
  • Analyse Processes: Assess current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
  • Lead Projects: Manage improvement initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Use Data to Drive Decisions: Apply data analysis to measure impact and inform strategies.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Collaborate across departments and secure buy‑in for change.
  • Champion Change: Develop and implement change management strategies, inspiring teams to embrace new ways of working.
  • Train and Develop: Create and deliver training materials to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Integrate Best Practice: Benchmark against industry standards and explore cross‑sector opportunities.
  • Report Progress: Establish KPIs and reporting systems to track success.
  • Think Strategically: Support the development of an external‑facing business consulting function.
About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Essential
  • Experienced in process improvement and transformation within a large, multi‑site organisation.
  • Educated to degree level in Business Administration, Engineering, Business Improvement or similar.
  • Skilled in project management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Analytical, innovative, and adaptable to ambiguity.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to influence and lead change.
Desirable
  • Background in management consulting.
  • Familiarity with process mining tools (e.g., Aris) and SAP.
  • Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean or similar methodologies.
