The Role

As the Business Development Manager for Scotland & Ireland, you will play a crucial role in expanding Bizerba’s market presence and strengthening relationships with existing and prospective clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional who thrives on building lasting partnerships and driving business growth within the sales sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Scotland and Ireland to achieve sales targets and company objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Work closely with internal teams including marketing, product development and customer service to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for growth.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals and reports to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Represent Bizerba at industry events, trade shows and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain up-to-date records within the CRM system.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven track record in business development or sales within the technology, retail or food industries, preferably with experience in weighing, slicing or related equipment.
  • Strong understanding of the Scottish and Irish markets and their commercial landscapes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a customer‑focused approach.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region.
