Business Development Manager - Remote

Our client is a growing and reputable provider of specialist B2B energy services, helping organisations across the UK improve efficiency, manage compliance, and make smarter energy decisions. With a consultative, relationship‑led approach and a strong track record in the market, the business continues to expand its reach and service offering.

They are now seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to support their next phase of growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Developing new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Meeting clients face to face to understand their energy requirements and commercial challenges
  • Selling energy consultancy and related services through a consultative sales approach
  • Managing the full sales lifecycle from initial engagement through to close
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Maintaining an accurate and active sales pipeline
  • Representing the business at meetings, events, and industry engagements
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience selling within the energy sector, ideally energy consultancy or energy services
  • Exposure to services such as compliance, procurement, or energy efficiency solutions
  • Knowledge of ESOS or SECR is advantageous but not essential
  • A genuine enthusiasm for sales and relationship building
  • Comfortable travelling and meeting customers regularly
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and commercial skills
  • Self‑motivated, organised, and target‑focused
  • Full UK driving licence

Location: Remote

Salary: Up to £55,000 basic + 10% commission on all sales + car allowance
