Job Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, improving fuel and non-fuel revenue, developing corporate and commercial accounts, and building strategic partnerships. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of the fuel and energy sector, excellent communication skills, and a track record of delivering results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including commercial fuel accounts, fleet services, and local business partnerships.
  • Develop strategies to increase sales of fuel and ancillary services (e.g. car wash, convenience store, lubricants, etc.).
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns and customer loyalty programs.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and business plans to management.
  • Assist in contract negotiations with clients and suppliers.
  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to growth and profitability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the fuel, retail, or service industry.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of fuel industry regulations and B2B sales is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
