A leading consultancy firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to actively pursue opportunities in the industrial sector, particularly in areas like oil and gas, chemicals, and manufacturing. The role involves developing relationships with clients, conducting surveys to assess their needs, and collaborating with teams to deliver effective solutions. Strong interpersonal skills and industry knowledge are essential.
As an Industry specific Business Development Manager you'2ll proactively seek out opportunities with customers in the industrial sector, across the likes of OIL and GAS, CHEMICALS, WATER, MANUFACTURING, NUCLEAR and POWER STATIONS to deliver their solutions.
You will be developing and maintaining high-level relationships with them to gather information about their sites and their current and future needs, delivering effective presentations to new and existing customers and/or sector influencers. And through high-level surveys, you'2ll address clients' challenges and present the right solution. Key relationships will be with the likes of Technical Engineers involved in Operations onsite and Site Operations & HSEQ Managers for example.
You will uncover the high-level needs of their industrial clients through timely surveying. Work actively to provide suitable solutions for the customer based on their products. Work collaboratively with the internal BDM team for new leads and opportunities.
