Job description

Venatu Recruitment Group are working with a business which through continued growth require a Business Development Manager.

This role is crucial to driving growth and expanding their market presence.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business development and marketing strategies and will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, implementing marketing initiatives and enhancing our overall market position.

Duties include:

  1. Identify and pursue new business tender opportunities by exploring online tender portals, expressing interest, reviewing tender opportunities, downloading the necessary documents and submitting proposals.
  2. Production of high-quality submissions to support the business's winning work and project delivery activities, meeting deadlines.
  3. Ensure all submissions follow corporate guidelines and branding where possible and are technically correct.
  4. Create bespoke presentations where needed, organograms, visuals and case studies.
  5. Develop and maintain the company website, social media presence and advertising.
  6. Develop company branding to enhance visibility and reputation.
  7. Maintain the company QA System.
  8. Proven experience in business development and marketing within the Demolition, Civils & Scaffolding industry is essential.
  9. Must have a strong understanding of online tender portals, also reviewing and sourcing appropriate opportunities.
  10. Experience in bid management.
  11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  12. Ability to multitask.
  13. Capable of meeting deadlines.
  14. Computer literate.
  15. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  16. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm, Friday 9am - 4pm

Benefits: 20 days Holiday + Xmas Shut Down + Statutory Bank Holidays, Company Pension.
