About the Company

Our client is a fast‑growing furniture rental startup specialising in staging prime properties for both the sales and high‑end rental markets. Their curated approach enhances property appeal, accelerates transactions, and adds value for vendors, landlords, and agents alike.

The Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive referral growth and deepen presence in the prime property market. You will play a key role in establishing and nurturing relationships with property professionals, and be instrumental in building strategic partnerships that deliver ongoing value.

You will work closely with marketing, operations, and design teams to ensure a seamless client experience, representing the brand at industry events and networking opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and develop relationships with property consultants to generate qualified referrals
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with estate agents, managers, relocation agents, and developers
  • Shape and execute outreach strategies that reflect understanding of the property market and what motivates referrers
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and design teams to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Represent the brand at industry events and networking opportunities
  • Report on pipeline development, deal flow, and referrer activity
About You
  • You have 2+ years of experience in the prime property market (e.g. luxury estate agency, relocation, property staging, development or similar) OR in a B2B business development role
  • Alternatively, you've worked in business development for a furniture rental or staging company
  • You understand the language, pace, and expectations of the high‑end market, or are eager to establish yourself in this sector
  • You're commercially astute and strategic, able to form trusted partnerships beyond cold outreach
  • You're proactive, self‑motivated, and thrive in a startup environment where your ideas and contributions truly shape the business
  • You're comfortable building relationships from scratch and developing your own network
