A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Business Development & Key Account Manager located in Essex to drive growth in the food manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will leverage established connections and a solid sales background in B2B environments. Offering a competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 plus benefits, this role allows for flexible working arrangements including some days from home.
The candidate shall be expected to live in, or near Essex, as well as being able to travel nationwide. The role provides flexibility with some working from home.

Your primary focus will be driving business growth by identifying and securing new opportunities, particularly through your established network within the food manufacturing sector. Your emphasis will be on expanding the customer base, introducing innovative solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to exceed sales, profit, and performance targets.
The successful candidate should possess a commercial background of sales experience in a B2B environment within UK food manufacturing. You will have well-established connections within large Bakery, Cereal, Health & Functional Food, Dairy Alternative, Plant‑Based, or Healthy Ready Meal manufacturers.
