Business Development Executive - 12-Month FTC

Location: London
Contract: Fixed Term (12 months)

The Opportunity

We are looking for an energetic and driven Business Development Executive to join our Business Development (BD) team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage their own workload efficiently.

You will play a key role in overseeing firm-wide BD and marketing activities across multiple channels, working closely with Partners and internal stakeholders to deliver impactful campaigns and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct client, competitor, and market research to maintain sector awareness.
  • Drive actions from service and cross-selling groups, ensuring timely completion.
  • Develop targeted campaigns and social media strategies to promote services and sectors.
  • Project manage client events, conferences, webinars, and BD activities.
  • Collaborate with Partners and fee-earners to follow up on BD initiatives and manage pipelines.
  • Track and report engagement and new business generated through BD and marketing efforts.
  • Create bespoke capability statements and credentials for services and sectors.
  • Maintain and update website content.
  • Support the wider BD team with events, tenders, and ad-hoc projects.
About You
  • Minimum 2 years - experience in a Marketing/BD environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high-quality output.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with desktop publishing software, CRM databases, and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Flexible and deadline-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels, including Partners.
  • Keen to learn and excel within a professional services environment.
