Overview

Job Title: Business Development Director

The successful candidate will join Nasstar’s ICC Business Division Sales team focused on New Business and be responsible for the growth of new logos in the organisation. The role requires a confident, experienced, and self-motivated individual who is able to work with minimal supervision and who is comfortable working with Marketing, Pre-Sales and the delivery teams to identify new opportunities in new accounts and manage the engagement to closure with the customer. This will require interactions across different organisational levels in both technical and business discussions. Central to the role will be the creation of compelling sales solutions based on a good understanding of the customers’ needs and how Nasstar can provide solutions that solve both technical and business problems for our customers. The successful candidate will also need to be flexible in relation to working from home and business travel. Strong internal and client relationships are paramount, and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a high level of maturity and commercial acumen. Communications and documentation must be authoritative, precise and credible and the successful candidate will be flexible and responsive to issues yet attuned to the agreed scope of work and Nasstar’s interests. The successful candidate will have the experience and confidence to advise clients in relation to solutions provided by the Nasstar ICC Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and developing key strategic target prospect lists and the growth targets within them
  • Targeting new business acquisition growth campaigns around SD-WAN & SASE service offerings in conjunction with Fortinet & Cisco, and various other strategic initiatives and sales campaign activities
  • Identify, qualify and quantify existing and new revenue streams within the individual target accounts on the defined Target Account List (TAL) and develop a high awareness of the Nasstar services and brand on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain an understanding of the Nasstar Secure Connectivity portfolio and ensure it is professionally communicated to existing and prospective customers; keep up to date with industry-wide issues and those of our customers and how these translate into business needs
  • Assist in the development of marketing initiatives that are launched from time to time and ensure effective implementation with customers including feedback; provide market intelligence and feedback that contributes to Nasstar’s future sales and business planning process
  • Report to the Commercial Director on all aspects of forecasting including business pipeline, sales orders, contracted revenue and GP through the CRM system
  • Develop target account acquisition plans and sales campaigns to secure contract wins and new orders, supporting the achievement of the targets set by the company
  • Develop and manage virtual teams that secure multilevel contact within TAL that underpin the establishment of long term relationships and profitable revenue streams
  • Has a passion for technology and its potential to transform and improve business outcomes for Nasstar’s customers, and inquisitive and inspired by the potential of AI and Data to change the way people work and businesses develop
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, particularly those that impact revenue delivery from customers arising from sales orders
  • Represent Nasstar in a professional manner at all times, both internally and externally and support the adoption of Nasstar’s corporate values
