Overview

A leading provider of analytical testing services are seeking a Business Development Associate to drive growth in their laboratory and consultancy services, specifically within the speciality chemicals markets.

You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs (calls, meetings, CRM entries)
  • Develop account strategies and assess client outsourcing needs
  • Collaborate with operations to deliver high-quality, profitable proposals
  • Manage contracts and resolve commercial issues
  • Deliver account and market reports at local and global levels
  • Identify and implement service improvements
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade fairs
Qualifications

To be considered, you will have proven B2B sales and client relationship experience, with knowledge of the chemicals market. A scientific or business-related degree (or equivalent) with strong communication and negotiation skills would be advantageous.

You will be required to travel for client visits, conferences and promotional events, as such, a Full UK Driving License is essential.
