Overview

Reporting to VP Finance for Hydro Building Systems (HBS), this role is an active contributor to the reporting and controlling of the central business and that of the houses within HBS. You will work on the following responsibilities and contribute to improved financial planning and reporting within HBS.

Responsibilities

• Being the dedicated business partner to the Houses in HBS, the BU central budgets, and responsible controller for the Tools center
• Supporting the business in developing and implementing effective benchmarking, training, and deployment of new ways of working, with focus on SG&A
• Supporting and contributing to continuously improved financial reporting processes as well as business planning
• Owning the HBS Chart of account (SAP and HFM reporting), implementing changes in line with Group Accounting Reporting requirements
• Owning the transfer pricing process for HBS, supporting Group tax and Building Systems units to ensure compliant intercompany setup
• Owning parts of the monthly closing: such as consolidation, error checking and solving, monthly report preparation etc
• Assisting internal audit and internal control department in auditing and establishing internal control processes
• Owning the risk management process for the BU
• Supporting the Building Systems management for the coordination of HBS reviews with Extrusions Management
• Supporting the Building Systems management with decision material in form of strong analysis
• Participation and/or leading projects, at plants and/or business unit
• Be an active part of the finance and strategy team and support the team with other tasks when needed

Qualifications

• 10 years of working experience, along with experience gained from working in a business controlling environment
• Experience from working in a multinational environment, with corporate head office requirements in mandatory
• Proven track record of change management
• Experience from Building System and Plant level would be an advantage
• Masters in Finance, or professional finance qualification is required
• Fluent in English
• Well developed ability to express oneself both verbally and in writing is required with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently
• Advanced user in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience from HFM, SAP and PowerBI is an advantage
• Project management skills with ability to see through projects with tight deadlines, a positive person with high integrity and can-do approach as well as ability to prioritise and execute
• A curious mindset with willingness to learn and develop oneself as well as others
• A structured way of working and a strong drive to deliver results with precision and quality
• Being just as capable of working with the management levels as running training sessions at the shop floor
• A strong ability for independent work as the tasks and changing environment require flexibility in addition and at the same time an active and collaborative part of the team
