Job summary

A respected Defence industry company is seeking a Business Continuity Coordinator in Yeovil. The role involves supporting resilience, incident management, and continuity planning. You'll provide advice, maintain documentation, and develop training related to business continuity. The ideal candidate is proactive and detail-oriented, possessing strong skills in stakeholder engagement and compliance. This is a 6-month contract with a pay rate of up to £26 per hour for 4 days onsite work.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Business Continuity and/or Incident Management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent organisation, time management, and data analysis skills.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and driving compliance.
  • Contingency Planning and Crisis Management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Business Continuity and Incident Management advice.
  • Support business functions with Business Impact Assessments.
  • Maintain and update Incident Management documentation.
  • Support and record actions from working group meetings.
  • Develop and maintain Business Continuity training content.
  • Maintain the Business Continuity Risk Register.

Job description

One of the most respected names in the Defence industry is looking for a Business Continuity Coordinator to support resilience, incident management, and continuity planning at their Yeovil site.

Role: Business Continuity Coordinator

Contract: 6 Months

Location: Yeovil

Pay: Up to £26 p/hr (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)

Working Pattern: 4 days onsite

As a Business Continuity Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in supporting the organisation's ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from incidents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Business Continuity and Incident Management advice in line with company policy and standards
  • Support business functions with Business Impact Assessments and Business Continuity Plans
  • Maintain and update Incident Management and Emergency Response documentation
  • Support and record actions from Business Continuity Working Group meetings
  • Develop and maintain Business Continuity training, e-learning, and intranet content
  • Maintain the Business Continuity Risk Register and Single Points of Failure (SPOF) records
Required Skills
