Business Analyst - Care Division

Job Type: Permanent Full Time 37.5 hour per week - Monday to Friday

Location: Remote

Reporting to: Head of PMO and Continuous Improvement

JOB SUMMARY

Are you passionate about driving innovation and improving systems through data and analysis? Liaison Care is seeking a Business Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the future of our services.

As a Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in enhancing the analytical efficiency and delivery of Liaison Care's innovations. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and support the implementation of technical solutions that improve performance and productivity.

You will also contribute to wider analytical and data initiatives across the Care Division, helping ensure programs are delivered on time and to a high standard.

PRINCIPAL TASKS & ACTIVITIES

Including but not limited to:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and initiatives.
  • Process Mapping: Support the visualisation of current workflows and identify opportunities to optimise performance and efficiency.
  • Gap Analysis: Assess discrepancies between current and desired outcomes and develop strategies to bridge the gap.
  • Solution Design: Work closely with the innovation team to design solutions that meet business needs and improve system usability.
  • Metrics Development: Create key statistics, metrics, and reports to measure solution success and monitor ongoing performance.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse trends and activity metrics to uncover insights and identify areas for improvement.
  • Change Management Support: Communicate improvements effectively, deliver training sessions, and ensure smooth transitions to new systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Product and System teams and other stakeholders to share updates and report into relevant forums.
  • User Acceptance & Benefit Tracking: Manage and record user acceptance of solutions and report on the benefits of system improvements.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Experience

Essential:

  • Experience of delivering business analytics in relation to software solutions.
  • Product and service development experience from inception to business as usual, including requirements gathering and refinement.
  • Experience of defining and refining solutions that solve business, software, and data problems.
  • Proven experience of successful technical programme delivery from initiation to closure.
  • Proven experience of successful application of continuous improvement methodologies to operational processes.
  • Experience of building service user confidence and developing positive internal stakeholder/user relationships.
  • Super-user of Microsoft packages and in particular Excel, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM.
  • Experience of supporting team members with a view to empowering and upskilling others.
  • Experience of providing detailed data analysis, report preparation and collation.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the Healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of the component parts of Continuing Health Care.
  • Commercial or financial performance experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform.

Qualifications & Training

Essential:

  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of evidenced experience.
  • Business Analysis qualification.

Desirable:

  • MSP/Prince or equivalent project management qualification.
  • LEAN six sigma, Agile or similar continuous improvement qualification.
