Business Analyst
Location: Leeds/London/Dublin
Contract type: Fixed term contract
Reporting to: Programme Manager
The role will be part of our Strategy, Change & Transformation team who shape, enable and drive the strategic change agenda within Group COO, and are at the centre of our growing global business. The Business Analyst is accountable for surfacing, understanding and documenting business processes and requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring that business and programme needs are met through process improvements or strategic changes. This role bridges between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring alignment between business objectives and project work.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Provide support as a part of the programme team and collaborate with business units to surface, analyse and document requirements and processes in line with strategic objectives
- Responsible for requirement gathering and documentation with the business, ensuring transparency and alignment to the business's expectations
- Support project management activities including planning, monitoring, and reporting
- Perform data analysis and generate insights to support decision-making, including reporting with clear outcomes and metrics
- Collaborate across business units and delivery teams to optimally align planning with outcomes, driving incremental business value realisation
- Drive continuous improvement by recommending incremental improvements to the Programme and project work, including gap analysis and process improvement opportunities
Success Criteria
Within the COO Strategy Change & Transformation function, success will be determined by:
- Project Delivery: Supporting the delivery of end-to-end solutions by starting transformations well, implementing well and optimising beyond delivery. Achieving key results on time and within budget while maintaining high quality and compliance standards
- Team Development: Support the development of the wider Strategic Change & Transformation function, growing our collective capability, capacity and sense of team
- Elevating Transformation across Flutter: An approach for uplifting and innovating to develop our strategic delivery capability across Flutter
- Operational Efficiency: Enable the demonstration of tangible improvements in operational processes and business performance as a result of project initiatives
- Customer Satisfaction: Building strong relationships and ensuring clear communication across teams & management
- Risk Management: Actively catalogue and report on business risks, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and supporting our enterprise risk profile
- Change Adoption: Support the smooth implementation of new processes or systems, with high adoption rates and minimal resistance
- Continuous Improvement: Embedding a culture of continuous learning and best practice sharing across teams and projects
Qualifications
- Experience in a business analyst role, preferably within Consumer, Retail, Tech, Gaming or eCommerce industries
- Superb communication and teaming skills
- High quality attention to detail
- Ability to elevate data analysis and reporting through visualisation, insight and storytelling
- Experience in project management methodologies
- Comfortable navigating a global organisation and collaborating with multi-functional teams
- Ability to coordinate and work in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- A track record of successful delivery within a team, strong/proven abilities in project reporting and analytics
- Experience with process & document management tools, such as Power BI, Jira and Excel
- CBAP, CCBA, CSM, MSP, or equivalent certification is a plus
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment
- Familiarity with digital / technology transformation
