Business Analyst,

Harlow, Hybrid / Office

£28,000 - £35,000 per annum Bonus

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Business Intelligence Analyst to join a commercial and analytics function within a successful distribution business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, spotting patterns, and improving how information is used across a business. You may already have a strong technical interest - for example in tools such as Power BI, SQL, DAX, or Python - and if so, you will be supported and trained to develop a strong understanding of the commercial drivers behind the data.

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality reporting and insights for internal teams and external stakeholders. Working closely with commercial and senior leadership teams, you'll help transform data into clear, actionable insight while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and save time.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Building and maintaining dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • Supporting internal, customer, and supplier reporting needs
  • Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems
  • Identifying and automating manual reporting and data processes
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver value

What We're Looking For :
  • Experience or strong interest in data analysis and reporting
  • Exposure to Power BI, SQL, DAX, Python, or similar tools is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical and numerate skills
  • Confident communicator who enjoys working with others
  • High level of computer literacy

Commercial experience is not essential - candidates with a technical mindset and willingness to learn will be supported with training and development in the commercial aspects of the role.
