A government-owned organization in Glasgow is seeking a Business Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will understand and address business problems, facilitate user needs, and support projects aiming for improvement while collaborating with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in agile practices, analytical skills, and be proficient in managing business requirements. This position offers 28 days annual leave plus 8 public holidays, a Civil Service pension scheme, and flexible working options.
Salary: 45,172 GBP Annual

SLC offers an opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Reporting to a Lead Business Analyst, the Business Analyst will be assigned to small–to–medium sized projects or will work as part of a team supporting larger and more complex projects.
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in understanding business problems and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will use your analytical mindset to explore how a business or business area operates – considering people, processes, data, information, technology, and organisational structures. You will help shape meaningful change by identifying areas for improvement, exploring feasible options, analysing impacts, and defining what success looks like.
You will work closely with stakeholders to understand and articulate user and business needs, enabling the effective design, development, testing, and implementation of services and business change that align with organisational goals.
