A public sector client in England is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join their team. This full-time role entails assessing Building Regulation applications, conducting inspections, and managing major projects. The ideal candidate should have a degree in surveying or engineering, and corporate membership of a professional body. The position offers £50 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting the local authority environment.
Client within the Public Sector based in [County] is recruiting for a Senior Building Surveyor to join their Building Regulations & Land Charges team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority in a building control or regulatory environment.
The key purpose of the role is to efficiently and effectively undertake the assessment of applications for Building Regulation consent within the Partnership Area, conduct associated building inspections, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. The role also includes project management of major schemes for partner companies, fulfilling statutory responsibilities for dangerous structures, and acting as the Building Authority in safety matters related to sports grounds.
To be considered for this role, you will require:
£50 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £40 per hour PAYE).
