A faith-based charity in the City of London is searching for a Building Surveyor to manage construction and refurbishment projects. Ideal candidates will be Chartered Surveyors with at least five years of experience and a strong background in project management. The position offers a salary of £55,000 per annum along with various benefits including annual leave and a pension scheme. They are now looking for a Building Surveyor to join them on a full‑time, permanent basis, working Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.

As a Building Surveyor, you will lead and deliver construction, maintenance, and refurbishment projects across our client’s diverse property portfolio.
You will oversee planned and reactive works from initial assessment through to completion, providing professional guidance to support the evolving vision for the estate and ensuring buildings are safe, well‑maintained, and fit for long‑term use.
Managing full project lifecycles, you will prepare specifications and drawings, oversee statutory applications, administer contracts, and co‑ordinate consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
With responsibility for asset and condition surveys, you will advise on property suitability, compliance, sustainability, and long‑term capital planning, contributing to the development of an asset management strategy.
