Overview

As Building Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for the operational delivery of all building maintenance services within our Property Services Team. This includes planned works, void property refurbishments, responsive repairs, and estate services including cleaning. You will ensure services are delivered efficiently, safely, and to high standards of customer satisfaction, while maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

As Building Maintenance Manager you will lead a team of supervisors and operatives, driving performance, quality, and continuous improvement to achieve service excellence and value for money. You will also handle escalated customer complaints, resolve issues promptly, while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Do you have experience of leading and motivating staff to ensure quality, efficiency and customer service levels are exceeded? Do you have an eye for detail along with the skills and expertise to develop, deliver and improve our maintenance procedures? Then this exciting new role could be your next career opportunity. You will need significant and proven experience in managing high performing building maintenance operations preferably within a social housing or similar environment. You should also have a great understanding and knowledge of planned, void and responsive work processes, health and safety legislation and CDM, and strong experience of budget management and cost control.
