A leading consultancy seeks a Building Inspector to oversee new build and refurbishment projects in Bristol and Exeter. This role requires solid knowledge of building regulations and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will manage site inspections, ensuring quality construction practices while liaising with clients and contractors.
A Building Inspector is required to work for an established Quantity Surveying and Property Consultancy. You will be based from home and will be responsible for inspecting and reporting on sites in Bristol and Exeter.
A company car will be provided for the successful Building Inspector/ Clerk of Works candidate.
Occasional travel to Devon/ Cornwall will be required.
Projects will largely be new build and refurbishment projects and there is strong emphasis within this role towards projects in the residential sector.
As a Building Inspector, you will need to demonstrate an ability in undertaking instructions of building works in progress on newly built residential sites. A good knowledge of current Building Regulations and Warranty provider standards is required.
A Building Inspector job to cover the Bristol and Exeter area and suitable candidates for this exciting job will ideally live within South West.
