In addition to the core clinical post, the successful candidate will take on the responsibilities of Director of Breast Screening (DoBS), which attracts an additional responsibility allowance for leading and managing the NHS Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP) across the region. These additional responsibilities are non-contractual and can be removed with three months’ notice. The DoBS role includes liaison with NHS England and the regional Quality Assurance teams, service development, and performance oversight.
