ProTalent are delighted to be working with a small and friendly accountancy practice based on the outskirts of Brighton to recruit a Bookkeeping & Payroll Specialist to expand their team!

The firm:

• Small and happy team based in Falmer
• Successful with a growing client base including galleries, restaurants, painters, hairdressers, healthcare practitioners, contractors and more

The role:

• Bookkeeping and payroll for an exciting client base
• Monthly management accounts preparation
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Bright Pay is used for payroll and Xero for bookkeeping - experience in both would be beneficial

The package:

• Unlimited holiday

• Hybrid working after probation period - 2 days working from home if desired
• £25-30k
• Study support for AAT in the future if desired

The candidate:

• Experienced in payroll and bookkeeping - either in practice or in industry
• Ideally has used Bright Pay, Xero and CCH, but not essential
• A self-starter who is motivated and hopes to progress
• Flexible time-wise during the busy period of month-end
