Overview

Job Title: Bookkeeper

Location: Snetterton

My client in Snetterton is looking for a Bookkeeper on a short term basis (2 months).

You'll be reporting into the Group Finance Director and support a junior accounts assistant in their work.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable, including entering purchase invoices onto the accounting system
• Raising sales invoices and sending to customers
• Credit checks for new customer accounts
• Credit control, including issuing payment reminders to customers and escalating non-payment of invoices where necessary
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Monthly credit card reconciliations
• Entering employee expense claims onto the accounting system
• Posting journals for accruals and prepayments
• Issuing monthly management reports and KPI tracking reports
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and processes
• Any other finance tasks as determined by the Managing Director or Group Finance Director
• Pay can be flexible depending on your experience

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experienced Bookkeeper for a short-term project (2 months) is preferred
• Ability to perform the listed responsibilities and deliver accurate accounting work
