The Role

Our Bookings Experts liaise with customers and musicians to help secure bookings, acting as a trusted advisor to Encore’s customers as they search for a live music act to perform at their event.

By helping customers find the perfect musicians for any occasion, you will be playing a key part in creating thousands of unforgettable musical experiences for people all over the UK and Europe, and you’ll make it possible for our musicians to secure well‑paid work as they entertain and inspire audiences with their craft.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary of £25,000–£27,000 (depending on experience) plus uncapped on‑target earnings (OTE).

What You’ll Do
  • Ensure completion of all sales processes and strong pipeline prioritisation in support of hitting Bookings targets
  • Keep a thorough log of all customer touchpoints within our CRM
  • Speak to high value customers by phone, email and text
  • Qualify high value enquiries, understand their needs and provide advice and guidance throughout
  • Ensure ongoing customer engagement within your allocated pipelines
  • Handle all questions and concerns the customer may have in a timely and helpful manner
  • Liaise with musicians to support their success in securing Encore bookings
  • Provide Bookings Expert support to high priority B2B accounts
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, enabling you to connect with customers and foster meaningful relationships
  • Proven track record of technological literacy
  • Friendly, engaging phone manner and excellent listening skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
  • Exceptional time management and organisational abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and prioritisation in service of hitting Sales targets
  • Great interpersonal skills, allowing you to work well in a collaborative team setting
  • A proactive approach to identifying ways to enhance your workflow and assist more customers efficiently
Ideally, you'll also have some or all of the following:
  • Experience in a sales role (high volume sales preferred)
  • Experience of using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Previous experience booking musicians for gigs or experience in events
  • Keen interest or knowledge of all styles of music
  • Experience working in a startup / small business environment
  • Good numerical skills
