Overview

The Temporary Staffing Services of West London NHS Trust is seeking to recruit a highly skilled Band 4 Booking Co-ordinator.

The post will require the successful candidate to co-ordinate bank and agency cover for the trust. The successful candidate will be required to work in a very challenging and demanding environment and to provide a professional, effective and efficient Temporary Staffing Service.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with Bank staff, Ward/Department Managers, Clinical Team Leaders, Senior staff, Agency suppliers as well as Human Resource colleagues.
  • Work as part of a small team dedicated to the procurement of bank staff within the trust.
  • Ensure efficient and timely booking of bank staff and provide excellent customer care to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work to tight deadlines, be self-motivated and commit to the highest standard of service delivery.
  • Use established IT systems to support the temporary staffing process, including HealthRoster and BankStaff software; proficiency with various IT applications to use the E rostering process is essential.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to develop highly professional relationships with key stakeholders, including bank workers, external agencies and service managers.
  • Experience/Knowledge of working within a mental health environment is desirable and an understanding of current trends in the temporary workforce.
  • Experience using IT systems, such as HealthRoster and BankStaff software, is essential.
