Job Description: Bodyshop Manager – Basingstoke

Our client is an accident repair centre in Basingstoke, looking to recruit an experienced Bodyshop Manager to run their operation.

Package: £46,000 plus bonus. OTE circa £56,000

Hours: Monday to Friday only

Key Tasks:
  1. Achieve maximum sales of labour, parts, paint & materials by continuously looking for ways to increase business coming into the Bodyshop.
  2. Work closely with the General Manager to develop a marketing plan to increase the volume of work whilst also developing the Paint & Body Centre reputation for quality and excellence in the local area.
  3. Develop a competitive price structure for the department, reviewing labour rates, fleet discounts, and parts.
  4. Monitor and control stock levels, assets, and all financial transactions.
  5. Ensure that the Paint & Body Centre achieves budget by reviewing accounts and daily operating controls.
  6. Keep a close eye on expenses to stay within budget and adjust resources accordingly.
  7. Achieve profit objectives within a specific time frame to ensure a budgeted return on investment.
  8. Establish relationships with credit accounts, insurance companies, and customers to facilitate repairs.
  9. Strive to exceed targets through efficient operation of the Paint & Body Centre.
  10. Monitor progress in achieving departmental goals in service and profitability.
  11. Monitor productivity performance by individual technicians.
  12. Identify opportunities to reduce costs.
  13. Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
