Position: Regional Sales Manager (South-West) - Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS)

Our client, a BCIA Award winner, is a leading provider of innovative Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) dedicated to optimizing energy efficiency, sustainability, and operational excellence in commercial and industrial buildings.

We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to drive growth and market presence in the South-West.

Role Overview

As the Regional Sales Manager for the South-West, you will be responsible for leading sales strategies, cultivating client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the assigned territory. Your primary focus will be on promoting and selling our advanced Building Energy Management Systems, working closely with clients to understand their needs, and delivering tailored solutions that align with their energy optimization goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market expansion in the South-West region.
  • Identify and engage prospective clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across industries.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement effective marketing campaigns and initiatives to generate leads and drive brand awareness.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for clients to showcase the features and benefits of our BEMS.
  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide insights and recommendations for product enhancement and market positioning.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, outlining progress, challenges, and opportunities within the territory.
Qualifications And Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in B2B sales, preferably within the Building Energy Management Systems industry or related technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of energy management principles, building automation, and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel within the UK region as needed.
