Our Cellular Pathology lab based in Princess Alexandra Hospital is looking for an experienced Part Time Biomedical Scientist to join our team processing histology and cytology specimens. We all know those long hours, and the laser focus it takes to get it right. Every result you handle doesnt just sit on a screen it makes a real difference to patients lives. Our labs going through some exciting changes with a fresh pathology and phlebotomy service, backed by serious investments in new kit and better ways of working, all part of the Herts and West Essex Integrated Care Boards plan to modernise things.

  • Join a Cellular Pathology lab processing histology and cytology specimens.
  • Contribute to preparation and reporting workflows to support timely and accurate diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement new pathways and technology as part of service modernisation.
