A leading NHS foundation trust in Ipswich is seeking an enthusiastic Biomedical Scientist to join its team. In this role, you will contribute to laboratory diagnostic work and develop a range of skills while supervising junior staff. Registration with the HCPC and experience in a Haematology lab are preferred. The Haematology laboratory at Ipswich is looking for an enthusiastic, and well-motivated person to join the team as a Biomedical Scientist.
You will join the team of rotating Biomedical Scientist staff, contributing to all areas of Haematology laboratory diagnostic work and developing a broad range of skills.
You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and should preferably have experience of working at registrant level in a Haematology laboratory.
You will join a friendly and busy MHRA and UKAS compliant hospital laboratory who are committed to the training and development of our staff. We are IBMS accredited training laboratory for registration and specialist portfolios.
We are equipped with Grifols, Sysmex XNs and ACL TOPS analysers.
