Job Description

Mediplacements are recruiting for an experienced band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry for a locum role with our client located in London. The pay for this position is £25 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests, including routine and specialized tests in the Biochemistry Department
• Monitor and maintain quality control standards
• Interpret results accurately and provide reports to medical staff
• Maintain accurate records of tests performed, results obtained, and equipment used
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments

Must have Biochemistry department experience, including experience on Roche analyzers, LIMS - Winpath and Infinity. Must be able to cover early (8am to 4:30pm), day (9am - 5:30pm), and late shifts (11:30am to 8pm). Must be able to work weekends.

The successful candidate must be HCPC registered and have experience in Biochemistry.
