Overview

As a Project / Bid Manager, you would be involved with the full lifecycle of projects, from defining tender strategies and submitting competitive and compliant tenders, through to managing project delivery in collaboration with clients, contractors, stakeholders and our project teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality tenders and proposals that are competitive and compliant with legal, regulatory and company requirements.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between sales, tendering, BD, and other departments (Business Streams and Disciplines).
  • Lead bid or project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
  • Develop and execute project plans, including scope, schedule, cost, risk management, and communication plans.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and innovations to drive business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with nuclear industry regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
  • Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders, including project team members, clients, and senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Contract management, including claims and variations.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • 10 years of experience, including experience working within the nuclear industry.
  • Project or Bid Management experience, preferably for major projects in highly regulated industries, e.g. nuclear.
  • Commercial acumen to understand client and tender requirements and to drive competitive tenders.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Agile and self-motivated, with a focus on improving personal and team performance and able to generate innovative outcomes to challenges.
  • Willingness to take responsibility and support others within the team.
  • Proficiency in French or Dutch is not mandatory but is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment.
