Are you passionate about supporting young learners and helping them thrive? We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school environment.

This is a full-time role with an immediate start, working with primary-aged students (5-11) to promote positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence in learning.

This role is ideal for someone who is patient, proactive, and committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment where every child can succeed. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to provide tailored support, helping students overcome challenges and develop essential social and emotional skills.

As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, your role will include:
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to students who need help managing behaviour and emotions
  • Assisting teachers in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Implementing strategies to encourage engagement and participation in lessonsSupporting students in developing resilience, confidence, and social skills
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure consistent support
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Minimum 6 months of childcare experience, ideally supporting children with additional needs

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence - due to the rural location, driving is essential
