This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual committed to making a positive impact on students lives by providing high-quality pastoral care and behaviour support.

About the Role

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to support the personal development, behaviour, and welfare of students. The successful candidate will work closely with a specific year group, providing tailored support to help students overcome barriers to learning, improve attendance and punctuality, and promote positive behaviour.

Responsibilities
  • Pastoral Support: Provide effective pastoral care, supporting students emotional well-being and promoting a positive school environment.
  • Behaviour Management: Implement strategies to manage and improve student behaviour, including monitoring high-risk students and liaising with parents and staff.
  • Attendance and Punctuality: Monitor and support improvements in student attendance, producing reports and communicating with families to encourage positive habits.
  • Student Progress: Assist in identifying underperformance and work collaboratively with the leadership team to plan interventions that support student progress.
  • Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and external agencies, contributing to a cohesive school community.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Promote student leadership opportunities and encourage student voice within the year group.
