Barista (Catering Assistant)

Salary: £24,700 - £24,960 per annum

Hours per week: 37 hours per week

Working pattern: Monday to Thursday 7.5 hours per day, Friday 7 hours per day

Weeks per annum: 38

Location: Abingdon Campus

Contract type: Permanent

We're looking for a Barista to join our friendly in-house catering team at our Abingdon campus.

Responsibilities
  • Serve customers to a high standard
  • Set up counters and clean down after service
  • Prepare food and assist with till work and cashing up
  • Keep displays stocked and tables clean
  • Support with general catering duties as required
Essential Experience
  • Experience in a similar Barista/Catering role
  • Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
  • Self‑motivated when working alone and a great team player
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Able to maintain high hygiene standards and adapt to a busy environment

You’ll report to the Catering Manager and Supervisor and work together to deliver excellent service for our students and staff.
