Location: Sheffield / London / Hybrid Working

(Expectation that you will attend an office 2 days per week)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)

Salary: Up to £90,000 (Sheffield) / £112,500 (London) depending on experience

THE ROLE

In this position you will be responsible for leading strategic and operational change initiatives across the Banking business. You will drive transformation programs that enhance efficiency, scalability, regulatory compliance, and client experience within Banking operations, administration, and management. You will also act as a change leader, aligning business objectives with technology, operating models, and people capabilities to deliver measurable business outcomes.

With responsibility for defining the strategic vision for change across the division, you will provide senior oversight of the end-to-end delivery of multiple, complex programmes of work for the Banking business.

Acting as a key interface with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and ExCo, you will provide thought leadership in a consultative capacity for effective operationalisation of products whilst ensuring enterprise objectives are translated into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

With line management responsibility for a direct team of c.4 and broader oversight of a delivery function of 15–20 professionals, you will also be required to manage programs and change management projects.

With extensive experience in leading large-scale change programmes within financial services, ideally banking or Banking management, you will be able to demonstrate a track record of strategy definition, delivery oversight, and stakeholder management at a senior leadership/ExCo level, and knowledge of direct Banking in funds, fund-of-funds structures, and broader industry understanding of venture capital and equity Banking.

A deep domain knowledge in Banking, including retail and commercial banking products, Tier 2, Guarantee structures and Capital Banking markets is also required, as is a proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams, with experience leading both direct reports and broader, cross functional delivery functions.
