York Teaching Hospital Facilities Management (YTHFM) are looking for approachable and flexible Bank Porters to join our Portering Team in York. Experience is not necessary as full training will be given, but a willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential.

Working Patterns

Monday to Sunday 14:00-22:00

Monday to Sunday 06:00-14:00

Monday to Sunday 22:00-06:00

Responsibilities

The Porters are mainly responsible for the movement of patients, equipment and samples across the various departments and wards within the York Hospital site.

The Emergency Department (ED) is a very busy area with a high volume of patients that need moving in and out of the department at any time of the day or night.
