Overview

Midwives are invited to join our Bank supply at Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Goole. The bank Midwives will provide ante-natal, post-natal and intrapartum care to women with low and high-risk pregnancies across all areas of the service as required. The post holder will work within the sphere of practice in accordance with NMC codes of practice and professional guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care for women and their families.
  • Support and work within local policies and guidelines while respecting the rights of patients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and skills through the Trust’s training and support package.
Qualifications
  • Must be a registered midwife with an NMC PIN.
  • Applications from Red List Countries are not accepted as per NHS Employers and WHO guidance.

A successful appointment may enable work via our collaborative bank at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and York and Scarborough NHS Trust.
