Job description

Exciting opportunities are available for Midwives to join our Bank supply at Scunthorpe, Grimsby, and Goole.

  1. Our bank Midwives will provide ante-natal, post-natal, and intrapartum care to women with low and high-risk pregnancies across all service areas as required.
  2. The midwife will work within their scope of practice in accordance with NMC codes of practice and professional guidelines.
  3. We offer the chance to develop and maintain your knowledge and skills within a supportive environment. The Trust provides comprehensive training and support for staff in our local hospitals. It's an excellent place to learn and gain experience, working alongside a welcoming team.
  4. Please only apply if you are a registered nurse/midwife with an NMC PIN. Unfortunately, applications from Red List Countries cannot be accepted, in line with NHS Employers and WHO guidance.
  5. Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to work via our collaborative bank at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and York and Scarborough NHS Trust.

  7. The post involves providing antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care that respects patient rights, within the NMC Code and supported by local policies and guidelines.
  8. Our partnership, the Humber Health Partnership, is one of the largest in the NHS, serving over one million patients annually with a budget exceeding £1.3 billion. It comprises two Trusts: NLAG and HUTH, with five main hospital sites.
