Overview

This is a temporary healthcare assistant role at Elysium Healthcare's Emerald Place Clinic in Charlwood, Surrey. The role involves providing care and support to young people aged 13-18 with a range of mental health conditions and complex needs. What you will be doing

You will join the team as a Bank Healthcare Assistant to provide care for young people with mental health conditions and complex needs. You will use your experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker or Care Worker to help service users lead a valued and fulfilled life. The service operates 24/7 with 12.5-hour standard shifts. On a zero-hour contract, you will have the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

Job responsibilities

After completing a paid two-week induction, you’ll have access to available shifts at Emerald Place Clinic in Surrey, with the potential future option to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across the region. There is no minimum number of hours required, though it is recommended to work regularly to maintain induction knowledge and familiarity with the service. Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available and can be viewed and booked through an app. The shifts you secure will be at Emerald Place Clinic.

You will be joining a team that delivers care for people with Mental Health conditions. Whether you are currently a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker or Care Worker, you will utilise your experience to support people to lead a valued and fulfilled life. A positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. It is rewarding to see people improve as a result of your work.
