Job description
Overview

Bank Healthcare Assistant opportunity at HMP Bullingdon, a Category B male remand and resettlement prison near Bicester. Work in a varied environment across primary care, mental health and substance misuse, including emergency response, clinics, health promotion and wing duties.

Hours: Bank role – maximum 22.5 hours per week or 90 hours per month. Shift patterns: 07:30–17:30, 07:30–19:30, 19:30–07:30. Salary: £15.25 per hour.

Main duties
  • Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care with the patient, promoting safe patient care and applying received training.
  • Be willing to develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.
