Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Female Domestic Assistant at our CQC Retirement Communities Service at Rosary Priory, Bushey.

At Rosary Priory, we provide personal care and support for retired nuns from the Dominican Sisters of Saint Catherine of Siena Newcastle Natal, ensuring they have comfort, independence and peace of mind during their retirement.

The position of Cleaner is referred to internally at Sanctuary, as Domestic Assistant.

The role of Cleaner will include:

Providing a personalised domestic service to the sisters, fulfilling housekeeping, cleaning and domestic tasks to meet sisters’ needs

Ensuring a clean, comfortable and safe environment is maintained in the communal and service areas

Responsible for the daily use of housekeeping equipment

Monitoring of stock levels and reordering of supplies

Skills and experiences:

Experience is not essential however some experience of undertaking general housekeeping or domestic duties would be desirable

An approachable, caring and compassionate attitude is essential

Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitude

Ability to demonstrate a competent level of numeracy and literacy

NVQ2 in Hospitality and Catering or willing to work towards, is desirable
